Following Jade Goody’s high-profile life, her death early Mother’s Day morning was going to be no different.

The last moments of the reality TV star’s life were splashed across the front pages of broadsheet and tabloid newspapers alike, but the legacy that she has left behind is one of integrity, bravery and courage.

Hundreds of floral tributes have been laid down outside Goody’s home in Upshire, Essex, as well as written tributes pouring in from all angles of politic, public and celebrity worlds.

Amongst these tributes are messages of thanks, providing inspiration to those suffering from terminal illnesses as Jade faced her fate head on.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Jade said: ”I’m not scared of dying anymore. I believe in heaven and spirits, so I’m not scared of death.”

Macmillan Cancer Support praised Jade for ensuring the financial stability of her children and planning the details of her funeral.  They hope that others will follow suit in preparing and making decisions for the last moments of their lives.
